Mouse Buttons Non Functional After 5 Or 10 Minutes

However, yesterday evening, after finishing loading up windows xp and in the middle of loading my programs my mouse buttons just stopped working for no apparent reason. The cursor movement works just fine but the buttons are non responsive. I reformated and reinstalled windows again this morning thinking everything will be fine but low and behold during my program load up the buttons packed up again after about 5 or 10 minutes. Any ideas?

Mouse With 3 Buttons And A Scroll Wheel
I need to find a mouse that has 3 buttons and a scroll wheel. I do not want one where the scroll wheel is meant to be the 3rd button. I need 3 actual buttons and also a scroll wheel (and if that happens to be a button that is ok i guess). There is some software i use that really needs a middle/3rd button, but it is impractical, annoying, uncomfortable, etc to use the wheel as a button i need to press alot. Any ideas?

Has anyone had an issue with the wireless mouse (microsoft intellipoint) which has a hub plugged into the usb port does not respond for the first 10-15 minutes after logging on? A friend and i were arguing about what 'should' be mapped / assigned to the different buttons on our logitech mx5x0 mice. I personally have the left back thumb to double click, front to minimize all, scroll wheel click is alt+f4, button behind the scrollwheel is auto scroll down and the one behind that is restore all, with the front button being mapped to backspace. I use basically the same thing for gaming but when world of warcraft comes out i'll probably make a specific set for it. Ms Razer Habu Mouse Dpi Buttons Stopped Working
It's odd, 2 days ago the ms razer habu mouse dpi on-the-fly buttons stopped working. Also the 2 side-backlite lights stopped working. And the pointer is all shaking, low dpi i guess. I uninstalled drivers now the mouse is fully lit-up. Problem is i can't get my dpi buttons to work. Anyone has any suggestion?

Pc Is Freezing 3 Minutes After Booting
My pc is freezing 3 minutes after booting it. I just replaced the power suppy i found that the fan died-out! Could it be the processor or the hd? The processor is a p4 and the hd is only a 20gb. This computer worked flawless for more than 6 years. How can i check whats wrong with it? I dont think i have any spyware or a virus i have checked everywhere.

My rig has some very odd bootup problems. After it boots and starts, it will freeze after 1-10 minutes (in winxp) and i have to restart it and then it will run fine for hours or days. Does anybody know what could be the problem?

Windows Xp Loads In 30 Minutes
When i start my computer the intel motherboard screen comes up but the os does not load. I wait and wait but the os (windows xp sp2) won't load. I am forced to shut down (by pressing down the cpu button for a few seconds) and the funny thing is that after 30 minutes or so, the os loads as if nothing is wrong with my computer !

My computer was working fine yesterday, all day, and now i can't have it on for more than 10 minutes without it randomly shutting down. It's not a problem with the wall socket because my monitor stays on the whole time, so i figure it's a problem with the tower. Here's what i've done since last night:
1. Put the side panel back on. 2. Moved it to my dorm room. I haven't checked for any loose connections, but that could be it. I figure either one/some of the connections is just barely hanging in, or one of the parts is overheating. That could be because either a heatsink misaligned in transit to my dorm or the side panel is cutting off ventilation.

Within 5 Minutes The System Freezes Up
Every time i turn it on, it boots up as normal. Usually within 5 minutes or so the system freezes up. Sometimes, the computer automatically restarts. Other times, the computer will freeze and, if i'm playing music, my speakers will emit a grinding noise, and i will have to manually turn it off. This usually happens between 1 and 3 times before the computer will turn on and be stable. Has anyone had a similiar problem? Any suggestions? I returned it to the store i bought it at and they were unable to fix it. I'm running a 1. 15 amd athlon with 256 mb ram.

My computer hangs. No warning, no messages, no extremely taxing problems. Just, hangs. Meaning. . My mouse can't move, my keyboard doesn't work. Everything is in stop time ( can't even use ctrl+atl+del) when my computer restarts, it shows that my primary master isn't detected. If i wiggle my ide cables around, it detects it. Now, here's the thing. The maxtor is a brand new hard drive, i had the same problem with my old western digital (40gb one) and i replaced it. I've tried changing my ide cables, and same problem. I've tried buying an ide controller card and same problem. Anyone with any idea on what i'm missing.

My monitor that came with my win98 dell computer, takes now about 6 or 7 minutes to open. I upgraded to winxp, it now takes about about 4 or 5 minutes. Someone suggested to test and find out if it's the monitor or the computer. I borrowed a laptop but didn't know how to do it. A kind person suggested the following:
"Right click on the screen, choose properties/settings/advanced, look for your graphic card or video card then you should see the 2 icons for the 2 monitors. I'd been having a problem with crashing to blue screen and getting the error of "irql is not less or equal to" for about a year. Now for the past 3 days my computer has started completely freezing either as soon as my desktop shows or 10-15min after startup. The only major change i've done is adding a second hard drive last weekend. But as stated, i didn't start having this problem till about 3 days ago, so i'm pretty sure it isn't the additional hard drive i added. Any help is appreciated. At this point i'm thinking that my only option is to just reformat.

Why does my internet disconnect and reconnect every few minutes? I use wireless internet for my pc, and when i use the internet, it works fine for 3-5 minutes then after that, it just disconnects. I already switched my wireless channel and nothing seems to help.

Side Buttons On Mx1000
I used to have a ms optical mouse with a button on each side of the mouse that i could assign to use in games for certain actions. The buttons on the mx1000 wont assign to anything, as in the game doesnt seem to see them. Just the normal left, right, and center wheel buttons are seen in the games. Its not a super big deal as i can just map the keys to the keyboard but i would rather have them being used on the mouse. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue or if there is a way arounfd this.

I have a microsoft digital media keyboard, seen at the top of this website click here. Now most keyboards these days come with a next, play, previous, buttons that work with itunes. Is there any way i can change the functions of the keyboard buttons, i have the microsoft software but it is terrible, there is favourite buttons that you can assign, but you can only assign them to open applications, not function as a play button, etc.

My logitech media elite keyboard is getting bad so i'm in the market for a new keyboard. I thought i could just buy a media elite again, but no logitech hassled around with the crappy keys , resized the function buttons and voila: media 600 keyboard. Thanks, but no thanks. I'm done with those stupid proprietary function buttons. Is it just me, or is there nothing decent on the market? I'm looking for just a "normal" keyboard:
Black
Qwerty-layout
Normal sized function buttons
Normal positioned function buttons
Solid
Normal buttons (not laptop style)
Around same feeling as the media elite keyboard
Numpad
(Thing as volume keys / mute / media / mail / etc. : Nice to have. )

-Who needs a illuminated keyboard? I can type blind with all ten fingers and if you slide off the keyboard you can easily find the 'f' and 'j' because they have that ridge. A illuminated keyboard only distracts. The only light should be numlock, caps-lock and scroll-lock. -A display on a keyboard? No, i have my teamspeak client on my 2nd monitor. I've crashed a lot when flying chopper in bf2 because of the stupid randomly positioned and sized function buttons , so normal sized and positioned function buttons are a must-have. Would also be nice if there would be no need to cover 'escape' with the lid of a 35mm film can. I guess i'm not the only one waiting a keyboard that matches above list, so if you found one, please post. Edit: i have no problem with ergonomic keyboards as long as the space-bar is split in two (or firmly connected so i can cut it in two myself. ). Compaq Presario 2700us Shuts Down After Ten Minutes
My compaq presario 2700us laptop shuts down cold after about ten or fifteen minutes. Other times it boots partially and then shuts down cold. I have reinstalled all the compaq "quick restore" software but stiil shuts down.could this be defective ram or what?

Wireless Keyboard With Minimal Functions / Buttons
I'm looking for a quality wireless keyboard that doesn't come covered with crap. I don't want additional function buttons, multimedia controls, lcd info screens, knobs, switches, lights, snow cone makers, cheap plastic add ons, spilt board ergonomic crap or anything else other than the standard keys. I would like a wireless version for home use. Does anybody know of a keyboard like this. I guess an extra button or two wouldn't hurt, but i want the bare minimum, any suggestions?

Keyboard With Volume Control Buttons, Headphone Socket
I'm having a hard time finding a keyboard that meets the following criteria:-
- Volume control buttons, including mute
- Headphone socket
- Very quiet
- Not much more than 60 bucks
Also backlight keys would be a plus, but as i'm having a hard time finding those four, i won't be picky.

Define Audio Functions To Input Buttons Of Keyboard / Joypad
Trying to build an input system, it records audio functions and substitutes them as input functions for the joystick or keyboard. The first bit is easy, but does anyone know how i can relate my functions to the w, a, s, d, keys, or to the 8 point axis of an analogue joypad, esdsentially looking for ways to define my audio functions to the input buttons of a keyboard or a joypad.
