Hp Psc 1510 Printer - How To Scan ?
My hp psc 1510 3 in one printer is having an issue with the ink cartridges to where it is spluttering ink a bit and the little light blinks that it wants to print something and i think it's that test page. But, if i try to do the ink test thing, it just won't clear and it wants to keep printing a test page. In the meantime, it's jamming my capability for scanning. Whenever i go to scan, it says another program has control of the scanner. Is there a way to disable the test page thing altogether so that it never will ask me to print a test page at all? Is there a way to operate this printer so that i can use the scanner without having to replace the ink cartridges or have the printer part of it fixed?

I have a hp psc 1510 printer/scanner/copier machine. I didn't use it for a while. Recently, i install the software and use it again. However, when i try to scan the page to my computer(photoshop), all the imagine come out black(a little purple strip on the right side. ) No matter how many times i try, it come out the same result. Is there any way i can fix it? Or do you think which part is broke? Anyone have this kind of problem in related products?

While my hp psc 1510 all in one printer scans it adds random color lines, across the whole place it scans? Well basically the title says it all, but when i hit the scan button it will scan but a lot of straight lines in different colors (when scanning in black & white and in color) when in color just weird color lines, when in black and white just black lines, so i am wondering if there is a way to fix this? Or is the scanner part just broken?

Answer:- go in the toolbox and uncheck where it says to print a test page on startup. I believe that is in the service menu.

If you have a scanner, place them on. Then open my computer, click on the printers/scanners (towards the bottom) and it will launch a program which will save them to the location you want. Why cant i scan photos from my dell computer onto my pictures folder? Usually, it gives me the option of just scanning and downloading it onto my pictures folders. I put a photo in my scanner and hit "my pictures" and it is not giving me that option. It says that i can copy my photos already on there. It's like it's not recognizing my scanner. I just got a slightly used hp psc 1610 from a friend this past week. All i've used it for so far is for printing and because i don't have any black ink in it the exclamation point is always blinking. Anyway, i just tried to scan a page from a book to my pc and it wouldn't scan. How do i scan a picture into my computer i have a hp 750 psc printer scanner all in one? I am trying to get my pictures to scan into my computer but it will not work. Answer:-
Did you get a cd rom with the scanner and did you install the software on it onto your computer? If so make sure the scanner is connected to the computer (usually usb cable) and switch it on - you should see an icon appear with a green arrow on it. Now go to start > select the hp scanner from the start menu - click on it. A window opens with 'hp solution center' at the top of it. Place photos on scanner, face down on glass in nearest corner and close lid. Press scan picture in the 'hp solution centre' window. Press ok or scan again. The pics will be found in a folder called 'my scans' in 'my documents'.
