Hp Deskjet F4280 Printing Colored Pictures In Dark Shades

I just started to print out photos of my graduation using our printer hp f4280 3 in 1, but the result is in shades of dark, at first i thought it was just the photo paper, so i test a plain paper but same thing happened. The soft copy of the picture is really bright and clear but the printout is so dark. Anyways i just notice this problem cause i only print text before and this is just the 1st time i use this printer to print photos.

My hp deskjet f4280 will print something just a little and then stop i have to click cancel to get the paper out. I ran the hp print diagnostic utility and it said nothing was wrong. All the cords are connected. Whats the problem? How can i fix this?

My hp 1315 printer wont print colored pictures. I have just had the ink cartridges refilled for my all in one hp 1315 printer. I can print text (black) perfectly but when i print colored pictures it comes out pinkish red with a tad of yellow.

Hp Deskjet F4280 Streaking
Its got lots of white streaks, color works fine though. Tried lots of advice, banged the black cartridge down on a wet sheet of paper, this opened it up (formerly it wouldn't print black at all)
I heard i had to "reset manually" to get the streaking to stop, but no information on how thats done (i tried unplugging it for 30 seconds)

First of all, check the cd that came with your all-in-one printer to see if there's a program on there. What can i do about my printer that is printing really dark pages? I can still see the print but the pages are coming out all faded gray. It a hp laser jet 4000 in the library where i work at. Printer Printing Pages Light And Dark
Printer ink light not on, pages printing light and dark. Well i have a samsung printer, never have changed ink in a printer before as it is my first printer and new. I am printing off a flyer, the typing is light down the middle of the page which interferes with some of he font. Any setting etc i can use to fix this?
Answer:- this sounds like a laser printer, correct? Try shaking the toner cartridge. The toner may not be evenly distributed. Or your toner cartridge is low - you need to replace it.

I use a macbook with snow leopard and when i want to scan something the light on the power button just blinks quickly and then stops after about 15 seconds. Something used to pop up on the screen and it would begin scanning but it doesn't do that anymore. I reinstalled the driver and updates and still does not work. It used to work but don't remember if it worked since i updated from leopard to snow leopard. Inside the hp software it does not even recognize the scanner. Every thing is hooked up and ready to use. The scanner works, the fax works, i can even make copies, its just, my printers not working. If i can scan onto my computer then that means that the device must be installed properly. I've already re-installed the device twice. I ever brought it back and got a new one. I just cant print! Printer type - hp deskjet f4400 series. I have a research project due, and everything is saved onto my computer, but it doesn't matter if i cant print it out for presentation.

I have a new hp 4380 which i have a problem with, hp are not answering me. It works great on my xp running machine but i have issues on my vista main machine, the one i want to run it on. I can print ok and copy but not scan. This is because when i try to open the software that comes with the machine, hp solution centre all i get is a blank top page with no content. If i now scan it starts to scann but then reports that hp photosmart has stopped. I have tried loading the latest vista software from hp but still the same, any ideas please?

Lost Pictures
I have a friends computer and i backed up all his pictures on my little zip drive. My retarted *** didnt seem to double check the zip to see if the pics sent to it but when i checked it this morning everything was on there except for the pics . I reformated the hd and i need to find a way to recover the pics asap. Does anyone know of a good data recovery program i can use to recover these pictures back. Can i still recover them even if i deleted the partition?

If you have a scanner, place them on. Then open my computer, click on the printers/scanners (towards the bottom) and it will launch a program which will save them to the location you want. If and when that happens, then it becomes too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned. If the deleted files are on a memory card or usb memory stick, just dont save any new files to it. If you installed the scanner correctly, go in yout start menu and look in the hp folder. Click on the hp solution center and that will start the scanning software. Put your pix face down on the scanner glass, close the lid, and click on the scan button in the scanning software menu. Don't press the scanner button on the scanner. It won't work. You need to use the software. If you have photoshop, go in the file menu and select source. Use the twain driver and after, clock on acquire or scan.

Just bought a printer 3 in 1 by hp. I need to know how to scan pictures to my computer. Can anyone assist me in it?

If you installed the scanner correctly, go in yout start menu and look in the hp folder. Click on the hp solution center and that will start the scanning software. Put your pix face down on the scanner glass, close the lid, and click on the scan button in the scanning software menu. Don't press the scanner button on the scanner. It won't work. You need to use the software. If you have photoshop, go in the file menu and select source. Use the twain driver and after, clock on acquire or scan.

How do i scan pictures from an hp officejet 5600 series scanner into my mac? I am scanning some pictures and im trying to save it into my mac but i cant find the application to scan pictures. I am using an hp officejet 5600 series printer/scanner.
