Help installing my wireless hp officejet 6500? I do not have a usb cable and i don't know how to add my new printer to my wireless internet network. My computer says that i need my printers ip address but i can't find it in the manual or on hp's website. And i can't find a way to find the ip address on my actual printer or by pressing any buttons. Does anyone know or know how to find the ip address of my hp officejet 6500?

Hp Officejet 6500 Using One Cartridge Only
On my hp office-jet 6500 i don't want to have color cartridges in my printer, as they are too expensive, and if there is only some of one left it will automatically print in one color. But when i take out all the cartridges other than the black and white cartridge, it wont print because "there are problems with your cartridges", how can i fix this?

Hp Officejet 6500 Sound Issue
I have a hp officejet 6500 wireless all in one printer, there is a cheaper version, and them my wireless version that has wireless and also has rgb and b cartridges instead of all the colors in one. Basically my hp j6500 printer used to make a little badink sound after completing the printing job that was currently going. When it would finish i'd get the chime, and know it was done. But now it no longer makes this sound. I'm not sure if that was the actual reason for the sound, but it always did it after finishing a job. And now it doesn't. If anyone knows anything regarding this aspect of a printer, or a hp printer i'd love any help in figuring out a way to get it to do it again.

Hp Officejet 6500 Vertical Line Problem
When i scan a document it ends up with a vertical line running down the center of the page. The same thing happens if i copy and use the document feeder. If i just put the document on the glass there is no line. Any idea what may be causing the problem? I have cleaned the "rollers", but still have the problem. If it were a hardware problem, wouldn't the line show up even when i put the document on the glass?

Fyi this is a brand new printer fresh from the box, i have not print a single thing. After i turn it on, it just prompt me "paper jam"? I followed the step by step online guide from hp support site but to no avail. I even tried the "partial reset" and "semi reset". Still the same thing. But upon start up the roller make some weird sound, but i check everything is intact and rolling smoothly.

My hp officejet 6500 printer doesn't print from the internet. I purchased a hp printer officejet 6500 2 mo ago, and it worked for about 3 weeks. It copies ok but it will not print from online or wordpad, etc. I returned it and replaced it with another one, and it doesn't work either. Paragon Partition Resize Issue With Drive
I needed to resize a partition on one of my hard drives. I used paragon, and it crapped out half way through. Now i get an "interrupted operation: insert recovery cd. " Error when booting windows. Some googling gave me a common answer, everyone says fixing the mbr does the trick. So i pop in my w7 disk and repair the mbr using bootsect. It says the volume is locked, so i did it with the /force command, and it says it worked. I reboot, same error. I unplugged all my drives down to just my windows drive (which, for the record, is not the drive i was trying to resize), and still no luck. Any other ideas? Is there another means of repairing te mbr w/ windows 7 that im not aware of?

Print File Names On Photos With Hp 6500 Printer
Is it possible to print file names on photos with an hp 6500? Now i know i could take each picture and throw it into microsoft paint and then add text to it but i work for a home improvement company and we want to be able to match photos with their file names(which is something like img#) because we have written those file names down on the folders associated with the houses that we've taken pictures of. Here's the process: our production guy goes to a house where we'll be working and gets specific information for the installation crew. He takes pictures of the house, which are used as before pictures. He writes down the picture numbers/file names on the folder associated with that house. He brings the camera in after several days of taking pictures of 3-5 houses with 3-5 pictures of each house. So we're talking 9-25 pictures a day for however many days. And puts his memory card in the printer to print the photos to put with the houses and we want a way to match the photos up without him having to get on the computer and look at each individual photo to get its number. I hope that makes sense and i look forward to your answers.

My scanner says i need to run or install hp software in order to scan something. Whats wrong? Well, other than the fact that apparently i'm not running or installing the proper software, at least according to my scanner. I installed the driver software from the website. I also went to the device manager on my computer and selected the option for my computer to update the driver software, and apparently it's all up to date. It does come with an installation disc, but when i run the set up it stops at the 2nd step and a message pops out saying it cannot be installed using the "run as. " Command. And that i have to log off and then log on as a user with administrator privileges. And if there is no system administrator, to have the primary user of this computer install the software. Then it tells me to restart the installation by removing and re-inserting the installation cd. But i've done that around 7 times and the same message pops out.

Does anyone know the warranty criteria for the hp officejet 6210? I threw a party last friday night, and i had a great time but in the morning, (this sounds kind of odd) i realized someone took a dump in my color cartridge. Normally i could have just replaced the cartridge, but i didn't realize in until my daughter tried to print her english project. Now its inside the main hardware, and i have a **** caked printer. I might be the only one with this problem, but i could really use some insight.
