My hp deskjet f4180 wont scan. It prints and copies but i cant get it to scan? I just got a new computer with windows 7 and my printer is a hp deskjet f4180 won't scan. It prints great. Only problem is you cannot install the original cd the computer won't recognize it. I downloaded all of driver and when i try to scan i get the following message a required software component was not found or was improperly installed. So how do i get my printer to scan documents.

Check Ink Level On Hp Deskjet F4180
What do i do to check ink level on hp deskjet f4180 which i recently connected to windows 7? Although there is no as such method to check the ink level for your inkjet cartridges, but i thin that when you go to printer settings it shows those ink levels but i cannot say that they are correct or not. Otherwise you can just check the prints, they will go dull when your ink is about to finish. If yo have any update you can tell me i will be thankful.

I have a hp deskjet f4180 all in one [ printer, scanner, copier] i want to scan a picture into my computer , help? I imagine you have installed the scanning software hopefully. Just go in your start menu and start go in the hp folder. Select hp control center and under the file menu, select scan from there. Put the document face down on the glass and select scan. It will give you a preview . Go in the scanner setup and set it to scan at 300 dpi. That's it. Select scan and it will bring the image on your screen.

Hp F4180 Scanner Error No Destination
How do i fill the destination folder for my hp scanner software? I hooked up this hp deskjet d2345 printer about a week or two ago. It's fully installed and everything. Now when i go to print something, it won't print. The ink cartridge thing won't even move, except it moves to the center when i open the top (like if you need to change the cartridge). Why wont my hp deskjet 5150 printer wont print? I don't know what little orange down arrow means. But now it won't print and there is paper still in there! Hp Deskjet D4360 Printer Problem
My printer ( an hp d4360 ) isn't printing right for some weird reason. It started when i tried to print a black outline of an image but it kept shooting out blank pages (which i figured may have just been low black ink) then i tried printing a colored image and this is what happened. The image was of a blue design and it came out a faded yellow and red. It says i have a full color ink slot so i honestly have no idea what could be causing it. I haven't printed a color image for quite a while so could it be the ink went bad? Is that even possible?

Hp deskjet f4500 printer keeps saying printer offline. Its wireless and i have windows 7. I click print and it says printing but nothing happens then it says printer is offline. Hp deskjet 5150 - mad printer! Does random actions does not cooperate! I have a rather temperamental hewlett packard deskjet 5150 printer, which has previously worked very well indeed. However, it has developed a rather unusual problem, which is not like any problem i have seen before. When powered up, the power light is usually on and the ink light flashes. However, other times, it attempts to start printing a document - and fails, simply stopping whatever it is doing and flashing one light after the other, in sequence. When correctly started, however, i attempt to send a document to the printer. It either deletes the job from the queue on the computer, or the printer simply ignores it. In addition, it will not print a self-test page, either from computer or by using the printer interface. When i examined the cartridges, the cradle decided to try and move - with the top cover wide open - and this resulted in a loud snapping noise, coming from the inside of the printer. Nothing additional has gone wrong since this loud noise, but all the other problems i have described are still affecting it. I notice that my surge-protected socket unit is no longer surge-protected, the led having gone out. This was following a series of power-cuts to my house over the past year or so - however, this never affected the printer in previous times. I'm sorry this is so long-winded, but i have tried to include as much detail as possible. I have used the website "fixyourownprinter", but this has been to no avail on this occasion.
