How do i use my laptop for xbox live and what do i make the network connection settings?!?

Make sure you laptop is connected to a wireless network and is getting an internet connection, then take an ethernet wire and connect it from your laptop ethernet port to your xbox ethernet port and bridge the connection of the wireless network to the wired one from control panel>network connections, just drag the mouse highlighting both connections then right click and then click on "bridge connections".

Xbox Live Connection Problem

Ive been having xbox live connection problems. Every time i would play at night (around 10-11) i would get a lot of lag, making it hard to play. It happened every nigt, sometimes even disconnecting me from xbox live. This would only happen at night tho. I could play fine during the day. But now, its happening during the day as well. It gets really annoying an i have to get off every time. I run a connection test everytime but it says everything is ok. Imma see if i can call the internet provider today. Any idea of what it could be?

How do you hook a xbox 360 up inside a 18-wheeler and have xbox live connection? I don't recommend attempting to connect an xbox 360 to xbox live in an 18-wheeler. Theoretically, it could be possible to connect an xbox to the internet using 3g technology (3g router + 3g data plan), though the connection speeds would likely be too slow and unreliable for online gaming.

When i play wow i have 1 to 3 bars, but when i test xbox live connection i have 4 bars? The connection bar in game refers to the strength of your connection to the host. If you have a poor connection to other players, try finding a session with a better host.

What settings do i have to have on my laptop for it to have wireless internet connection? I had wireless internet connection 2 days ago, but now my laptop wont connect to the internet, or a network wirelessly i have to plug the laptop into the router/modem thing. Two Xbox Live Account In One

Ok so my friend accidentally took my profile on his hardrive, and he said to recover my gamertag. So i went to that typed my username and my email and password. But it says like the email is already being used for another profile. So went on xbox.com signed in and it says my gamertag is chaale996. Now when i made my account it asks for a gamertag. The first one i tried was chaale996 but it was denied. So then i chose supabananaman which is the profile i use all the time on my xbox. After i was confused on why it doesnt says supabananaman which is the profile i signed up with that doesnt say that when i signed into xbox.com. I sent xbox support a message telling them about it. I have no reply yet. So now i ask you people here, why when i sign in doesnt it say my actual gamertag hrrm. They must of screwed up when they created it for me. Or maybe i used a different email. That couldnt be cause i always had the email i used gaming stuff on. Is there anyway i can check what my email or password is when i do get my profile back soon? Im just worried if i did something wrong on my profile or the xbox people did. Thanks for reading this and help in any way.

Ok. I have an xbox 360 pro. It has the harddrive flash mod, i've updated it and everything it'll update and connect to live no problem, it plays burnt games. Even updates burnt games. Im a xbox live silver right now. And i know the mod i have is good. Can't Connect To Xbox Live Friend

We both have an open nat which means all of the xbox live ports are working. I even dmz my xbox and his, and enabled upnp, and turned of the firewall. No success. The odd thing is, if we have another friend host our game, then we can both join. Why is this happening? We both have over 5mbps, are directly connected into the modem, and are customers of the same tds. I used to be able to connect to him before i upgraded to a new modem, however i couldn't connect to my other friends then. ? Give me some tips on how to fix this, could it be that our isp's gave us the same ip address. Is xbox live at fault?

Cable Internet Lagging On Xbox Live

Ok so last night my internet was very crappy, so i called my cable company and after playing with a bad lag, on my video games, i was in a middle of a game when i called and i figured u know i should probably call teach support so i did. And well come to find out the guy has never heard of a laggy connection problem/ dropping out connection, so i got on there website and did a speed test- download speed: 7805 kbps (975. 6 kb/sec transfer rate)

Upload speed: 576 kbps (72 kb/sec transfer rate)

So after a bit of time thinking about it i went and resetted the modem itself and i am stil having problems connected to people online? I don't understand how it managed to get so messed up and i know its not the router its brand new (linksys e3000) high performance wireless n router, i bought a bout a week ago and every has been fine until i started lagging last night i know its not my router and i told the guy on the phone about it and i am wondering if i should just take the modem to the service center/ payment center ? And see if they can replace it ? I do not know what to do at this point cause i can get on the internet with my laptop just fine its just really slow

Xbox Live, Ethernet Cable Would Work?

Xbox question help? Im planning to buy the xbox live and the problem is that my xbox 360 is in the living room and the router is in my room(apartment) so i don't feel like wasting 100 dollars on the wireless adapter for the 360 . Now, i looked at my ethernet cables and the one included with the package is not enough to connect them. The one that could work is if i buy the 25-50 ft long ones for around 20 dollars or so. Now my question is if any kind of ethernet cable would work?

Wireless Connection And Settings Problem

So the problem i'm having is that when trying to connect to certain routers, there is a red x instead of the signal strength in the area where the available networks are listed. Where it says "security enabled network", instead it says something to the effect of that wireless router and my pc's settings are not compatible. It has nothing to do with the distance to the router or the routers password, as it still doesn't work when it is close, and it allows me to select the network, so there is never the chance to put in the password. If somebody could point me in the right direction, that would be amazing.

Xbox 360 Connection Laggy

I have a wireless connection from my xbox to my router. The router and modem both work fine, because they're pretty new, and all other computers in the house work fine on the internet. However, my xbox connection is extremely laggy. I can connect to xbox live when i turn my xbox on, after waiting about 10 seconds. When i test my xbl connection, its says xbox live is up and running. When i play games, i have a one bar connection, (even though when i test my connection, i have full bars) and move around in 40 foot increments (basically, i lag extremely hard). When i try a wired connection, it seems to fix the problem, but i want to be able to have a wireless connection, so i don't have to feed an ethernet cable through the house. When i bring my xbox and my adapter to friends houses, it works fine. At my house, i have the proper xbox ports open, and nat is open. There is usually only one other computer in the house online when i'm online with the xbox, but when i get on by myself, it still doesn't work. Also, most times when i turn my xbox on, my xbox doesn't recognize that my adapter is plugged in, so i have to replug it in. If you are somehow able to answer my problem, i am not only impressed, but you will get best answer, if it is a solution. Oh, also, i have tried restarting my modem and router. Doesn't help at all.

Xbox 360 Connection To Monitor With Speakers

My monitor is a hp w2448hc hdmi, i am using an xbox360 elite, the current cable i am using to go to my monitor is a hdmi to hdmi cable which makes the picture show up on my monitor and play audio through my monitors speakers. Now the problem is i want to play the sound through my speakers. They are an old brand of harman/kardon. They only have a green connection audio jack input thing. I plug that into my monitor and they will not work. How am i able to get these speakers to work through my monitor so i don't have to listen to my crappy audio from my monitor, but listen to the better quality from my speakers. What cables will i need, or is it simply something i am doing wrong?

Restore Toshiba Laptop To Factory Settings

How do i restore my toshiba laptop to factory settings? I've pretty much tried everything, it didn't come with a recovery disk and when i restarted my computer and pressed whatever i pressed it only asked me to do memory diagnostics and to restore system settings with a restore point that i had to set that only set it to a recent point in time, which sucks. I got the computer in 08 and it runs windows vista if that helps any.
