How do i connect my xbox 360 to live using wifi. Do i need a wireless network adapter. ? My wifi is down right now, but can i use my neighbors to connect to live. It is a pretty strong signal. If so how do i do it. Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to connect it to live?

How do you hook a xbox 360 up inside a 18-wheeler and have xbox live connection? I don't recommend attempting to connect an xbox 360 to xbox live in an 18-wheeler. Theoretically, it could be possible to connect an xbox to the internet using 3g technology (3g router + 3g data plan), though the connection speeds would likely be too slow and unreliable for online gaming.

Why won't my xbox connect to xbox live? Ok i've tried routers and the two i've tried, no matter if it's wireless or wired won't connect to xbox live. Any which way i try it always stops at obtaining the ip address. I've tried looking through the router settings but i don't know what the problem is.

Can't Connect To Xbox Live Friend

We both have an open nat which means all of the xbox live ports are working. I even dmz my xbox and his, and enabled upnp, and turned of the firewall. No success. The odd thing is, if we have another friend host our game, then we can both join. Why is this happening? We both have over 5mbps, are directly connected into the modem, and are customers of the same tds. I used to be able to connect to him before i upgraded to a new modem, however i couldn't connect to my other friends then. ? Give me some tips on how to fix this, could it be that our isp's gave us the same ip address. Is xbox live at fault?

How do you connect a xbox 360 to a computer monitor? Preferably using hdmi to connect to the xbox. Answer:- if the computer monitor has an hdmi port, then you simply use a standard hdmi cable to hook it up to your xbox 360. If your computer monitor has a dvi port, you can use a dvi-to-hdmi cable. If your computer monitor only has a vga port, then you have to use the microsoft xbox hdav vga cable (sold separately). Hdmi will not work with vga-only monitors.

I own a samsung 2233sw monitor, which has two ports at the back that can accept data in analog & digital formats. I have the cpu connected to the analog port, now i need to find a way (if there's any) to connect the xbox 360 to the digital port. I currently use a vga switch to switch between the video streams from the pc & the xbox 360, but the maximum resolution it can support is 1600*1200. Is there any special adapter or cable that will enable me to connect the xbox 360 to the pc monitor via the digital port so i can view both devices in resolutions of 1920*1080? Two Xbox Live Account In One

Ok so my friend accidentally took my profile on his hardrive, and he said to recover my gamertag. So i went to that typed my username and my email and password. But it says like the email is already being used for another profile. So went on xbox.com signed in and it says my gamertag is chaale996. Now when i made my account it asks for a gamertag. The first one i tried was chaale996 but it was denied. So then i chose supabananaman which is the profile i use all the time on my xbox. After i was confused on why it doesnt says supabananaman which is the profile i signed up with that doesnt say that when i signed into xbox.com. I sent xbox support a message telling them about it. I have no reply yet. So now i ask you people here, why when i sign in doesnt it say my actual gamertag hrrm. They must of screwed up when they created it for me. Or maybe i used a different email. That couldnt be cause i always had the email i used gaming stuff on. Is there anyway i can check what my email or password is when i do get my profile back soon? Im just worried if i did something wrong on my profile or the xbox people did. Thanks for reading this and help in any way.

Xbox Live Connection Problem

Ive been having xbox live connection problems. Every time i would play at night (around 10-11) i would get a lot of lag, making it hard to play. It happened every nigt, sometimes even disconnecting me from xbox live. This would only happen at night tho. I could play fine during the day. But now, its happening during the day as well. It gets really annoying an i have to get off every time. I run a connection test everytime but it says everything is ok. Imma see if i can call the internet provider today. Any idea of what it could be?

Ok. I have an xbox 360 pro. It has the harddrive flash mod, i've updated it and everything it'll update and connect to live no problem, it plays burnt games. Even updates burnt games. Im a xbox live silver right now. And i know the mod i have is good. But would the xbox get banned, i mean i've played cod waw nazi zombie online once and nothing happened, but before i spend money on a member ship i wanna know if anyone else has this mod, its the one for the philips and lite on drive. So far. I mean i've downloaded demos game add-ons playing nazi zombie on live. Talked to friends. Installed new updates. And the mod is still on and works fine. So anyone else with this mod. Cable Internet Lagging On Xbox Live

Ok so last night my internet was very crappy, so i called my cable company and after playing with a bad lag, on my video games, i was in a middle of a game when i called and i figured u know i should probably call teach support so i did. And well come to find out the guy has never heard of a laggy connection problem/ dropping out connection, so i got on there website and did a speed test- download speed: 7805 kbps (975. 6 kb/sec transfer rate)

Upload speed: 576 kbps (72 kb/sec transfer rate)

So after a bit of time thinking about it i went and resetted the modem itself and i am stil having problems connected to people online? I don't understand how it managed to get so messed up and i know its not the router its brand new (linksys e3000) high performance wireless n router, i bought a bout a week ago and every has been fine until i started lagging last night i know its not my router and i told the guy on the phone about it and i am wondering if i should just take the modem to the service center/ payment center ? And see if they can replace it ? I do not know what to do at this point cause i can get on the internet with my laptop just fine its just really slow

Xbox Live, Ethernet Cable Would Work?

Xbox question help? Im planning to buy the xbox live and the problem is that my xbox 360 is in the living room and the router is in my room(apartment) so i don't feel like wasting 100 dollars on the wireless adapter for the 360 . Now, i looked at my ethernet cables and the one included with the package is not enough to connect them. The one that could work is if i buy the 25-50 ft long ones for around 20 dollars or so. Now my question is if any kind of ethernet cable would work?

How do i use my laptop for xbox live and what do i make the network connection settings?!?

Answer:-
Make sure you laptop is connected to a wireless network and is getting an internet connection, then take an ethernet wire and connect it from your laptop ethernet port to your xbox ethernet port and bridge the connection of the wireless network to the wired one from control panel>network connections, just drag the mouse highlighting both connections then right click and then click on "bridge connections".
