Pci.sys Corrupted, When Install Drivers
I just built my new system, installed windows and everything seemed fine, then i tried installing the boards drivers and the system crashed, then when i restarted the pc, it couldn't start windows sayin, system32/driver/pci.sys was corrupted or damaged. I tred fixing the system and i wasn't able to, so i formated the disc, and installed windows again, and that happens again and again. Pci.sys gets corrupted again, i updated the bios and tried installing the boards drivers one by one and downloading them from the web site of the manufacturer, and when i was installing the first one "motherboard_driver_chipset_intel_inf_965.exe" same thing happened. Also im not very sure, but i think in one of my many attempts i installed the gpu drivers first than the board drivers and same thing happened. Now after restarting the pc a million times and having done nothing to really repair the file, the pc started again, and even though it was very slow, at the beginning, after some more reboots it seems to be ok now and i was able to install al the boards and gpu drivers except the motherboard_driver_chipset_intel_inf_965.exe one. Thing is im sure my oc wont be stable for long, and this seems to be a hardware problem, but i don't have an idea of how to identify what is really happening, so i would really appreciate if you could give it a good thought and give me a solution.

This doesn't seem to be an isolated problem but everything i untick "use system driver" under audio in games that use the ut04 engine the game will crash after a few minutes if not right away. When i do use the "use system driver" the games don't crash but i lose my 5. 1 and eax. Anyone else run across this? Figured i would start here since creative seems to be very unresponsive other peoples questions i have found.

Atikmdag.sys Blue Screen
I started getting bluescreens a couple weeks ago referencing atikmdag.sys
Tonight i decided to fix this. Here's what i did. 1.complete reformat, install vista from cd. 2. Install al critical updates via windowsupdate. 3. Install chipset driver from intel.com
4. Install catalyst 9. 3 from ati.com
5. Reboot, and i get the same exact blue screen. Situation #2

I'm writing this post from my laptop because my desktop pc is a paperweight atm. Here's my system specs:

Ndis.sys - Bittorrent Problem
Whenever i run any bit-torrent client, or sometimes also soulseek - i get an error: ndsis.sys (tis a blue screen of death chaps) to the tune of driver_irq_less_than_or_equal
I know this driver is something to do with networking, so what recommendations are there? Is it to with too many half-open tcp connections, or perhaps there is an error with my ethernet card. Suggestions people, please help.

Ntfs.sys Not Found Bsod
I used partition magic 8. 0 to repartition my c drive (i now know im such an idiot for ever doing that), and boom! Ntfs.sys not found with a bsod. I can't access asr on the windows xp cd, recovery console, nor can i get past where you press enter on the windows xp to check your partitions. I have no floppy drive, so do i have to get a usb one then? How do i fix this! I know about cd boot disks, but they require scripting on some and a floppy disk, which no floppy drive equals no floppy disk. Well, how do i fix this?
-Tried installing os on 2nd hard drive, failed
-Tried changing auto to lba, large, etc. , Failed
-Tried 1 hdd at a time, failed (left a cut on me too from a fan)
-Tried clearing cmos, failed
Faulty ram is not the problem.

You can attempt to by inserting the original windows cd blah blah. So i put in the cd, and try to get it to boot off it, and it doesn't work, just keeps going back to this error. All i want to do is reformat my hard-drive and install windows xp again, thats it! I can't boot in safe-mode. I have a dfi nf4 lan party ultra-d, and i set the primary boot device to cd-rom. Also, i have a sata hdd. Anyone know any solutions?

I keep getting this blue screen during windows xp setup and i've tested my ram with memtest86 which gave 0 errors! What else could be wrong to cause this? How do i fix it? How do i disable caching or shadowing? I've tried looking in the bios settings but can't seem to find it anywhere! I've also updated the bios but it doesn't help.computer specifications:

Generic 512mb (ddr333 166mhz) ram

I am unsure as to what can be causing this problem, most previous threads state problems in booting, yet my computer boots no problem, it just randomly freezes and the bsod appears with reference to that file.

How to install the hp softwares came with my printer 'hp deskjet 1500 series' driver cd? I have a basic hp deskjet 1500 series printer. My printer is working 100% properly. But i could not able to install the hp softwares came with its driver cd. When i go to start the installation process from that cd, hp shows that all the softwares are installed in machine. But in practical, this is not. I have already checked my c:program files section. There is no item present for 'hp'.

Hp Deskjet 3650 Problem
Hp deskjet 3650 wont print? I deleted the drivers, made a reboot, windows 7 searched for drivers and it installed them, in device manager i can see the device is working properly, the cables are connected, everything seems fine but it wont print. Does anyone know why?

Hp Deskjet F4280 Streaking
Its got lots of white streaks, color works fine though. Tried lots of advice, banged the black cartridge down on a wet sheet of paper, this opened it up (formerly it wouldn't print black at all)
I heard i had to "reset manually" to get the streaking to stop, but no information on how thats done (i tried unplugging it for 30 seconds)
