Hp Laserjet P1005 Installation Problem
I tried to install my new hp laserjet 1005 and as i don't have the cd, i downloaded the driver and software from the hp website. Yet when i try to install it , it says that there's a certain "p1006clp.dll" file missing. I tried to look online for it but haven't found a thing. I am sure i did everything right and i didn't connect the usb until it told me so. So what's the problem and where do i get this file ?

How to install network hp color laserjet 2600n for win7x64?
Answer:- i'm kinda answering my own question and wanted this solution to be out there because i couldn't be bothered to register with forums just to post it. 1. I installed hp pcl5 universal print driver with dynamic settings. 2. Keyed in the ip of the printer, it detected and installed, but test page didn't print. 3. Download hp driver and install but left hanging at "attach usb" phase. 4. Run windows add printer, windows detected and installed automatically. 5. Remove universal print driver (it appears on ur printer folder). 6. Cancel hp driver installation. I would think windows obtained the driver from the universal printer driver but it could also be the hp driver installation since the inf extracted to a temp folder. But the former is more likely. If you are confused, i ran two installation utility, one was universal and one was printer specific. So i have no idea which driver windows took but it works in the end. The printer works fine now. I got printing pref and all.

Printer Laserjet Around $200
Just yesterday my inkjet printer ran out of black ink, and it's been out of color for quite awhile. The thing is as old as the dinosaurs, and i'm looking into getting something better. 99. 9% of the time, i only print black and white, so i'm in the market for a new laserjet i suppose as i understand they're much better overall for just black/white stuff. The printer would be just for me and speed isn't of the essence, so i don't need something that cranks out a thousand pages per minute. I have a very old hp laser jet 5p printer here at work. I cannot get an upgrade printer. I recently had to replace the ink toner. When i printed out the page it would print blurry and would double print. I did a print test page. It was blurry and the paper has turned grey and on the back of the paper is grey also. The page also has white lines that run up and down the page. So my question is how do i fix this printer issue? I must have the printer to perform my job. There is nobody at my office except for me.

Please click finish and try running it again. No matter how many times i click finish the same thing happens. I tried turning the computer off and retried and the same thing happened? Cannot Print On Both Sides With Hp Laserjet Printer
Can't print on both sides (manually) with hp laserjet p1006? I just got a new printer, as it says in the title it's an hp laserjet p1006. When i try to print on both sides manually, the first set of sheets go out just fine, but when i reinsert it, i don't know how to get it to finish the printing!
It might sound a bit dumb, but i have tried to press every buttons (there is only a red "cancel" one and the power button). I have also got a message on my computer, saying to press "continue" once i've put the pile of sheets back in the tray, but the button at the button of the window says "close", and when i press it, it just closes the message window. I used to have an hp laserjet1012, which had a green button to continue the printing. But now i am a bit confused!

Can't print on both sides (manually) with hp laserjet p1006? I just got a new printer, as it says in the title it's an hp laserjet p1006. When i try to print on both sides manually, the first set of sheets go out just fine, but when i reinsert it, i don't know how to get it to finish the printing!
It might sound a bit dumb, but i have tried to press every buttons (there is only a red "cancel" one and the power button). Hp Psc 1210 Printer Software Installation
I have purchased old dell inspiron 510 m. I have got hp psc 1210 all in one printer. When ever i put hp printer installation cd in the pc, after few minutes it ask me to put original microsoft windows xp cd which came with the laptop to complete the installation. As i have purchased an old laptop, the seller didn't had the original windows xp cd which came with the laptop. What should i do so that my printer installation is complete. I will like to tell you when ever i log into pc, i have to write 'admin' and then it allows me to log into pc. Please tell me if i have to change certain setting so that i can install hp printer cd without laptop asking for original windows xp cd.

Printer Installation On Windows 7 - The Product Cannot Be Recognized
The printer is old, well, we bought it not long before windows 7 came out - so it's decently new. I know it works fine, because i have connected it to my other windows xp computer. Well i go through the installation process (unplug the printer from computer at first) when it tells me to connect it, i do - and when it recognizes it, it moves onto the next part of the installation - but that is where it fails and says "the product can not be recognized". I've been through my computers properties to make sure it supports usb hubs and etc - but still it wont budge. And i don't know if this helps - but when i try to print something, and i click "find printer" this message comes up "the active directory domain service is currently unavailable" and the default is "adobe pdf" - which i have no clue about"
