Setup Wireless Lexmark Printer
Yahoo's server name as i'm trying to set up wireless lexmark printer?
Answer:- you don't need yahoo's server name to setup a wireless printer. You need to read the user's manual that came with your printer, usually on a cd that was in the box, to set up the printer to work with your system. A wireless printer requires that you have a wireless access point or wireless router. This, in essence, creates a network, albeit a very small one with just one computer and printer attached, but more can be added. It may also be possible to setup a wireless computer as the wireless access point to connect to the printer directly using an ad-hoc network setup, but im not sure how easy or feasible it may be since ad-hoc networking is usually done for computer to computer connections and may be tricky to setup for a printer.

I have a lexmark 3 in one printer it has no set up disc is there anyway i can pull the setup off the internet?

Lexmark X1150 Setup Installation Error
Lexmark x1150 printer/scanner cd installation wont work, i got a brand new lexmark x1150 all in one thing. And i put the cd into the comp. And it keeps saying "setup installation error" and then something about i got restart the un install program. Does anyone know what i can do to finally install my printer/scanner? How do i set up a shared printer connection between the two computers in my home? I recently set up, using a router, a second computer on my internet connection. Now that i have full access to the internet with both computers there will be things i'll want to print out from the newer computer and it would be much more convenient if i could use the same printer for both computers rather than set up a second printer which i don't really have the room for on this desk anyway.

Which Printer Is Better, Epson Or Lexmark ?
Which do you think is a better printer, epson or lexmark? I hate them both - possibly lexmark a little more. Both have been sued (successfully) by their customers on more than one occasion. So to be honest - they both suck. They both have terrible customer service. They both make crappy printers. They both charge far to much for their ink and they both have been sued repeatedly by their customers. The only reason why i like epson a little more is sometimes you can find non epson branded cartridges, which will save you money on the running cost. They both have the audacity to charge in some cases upwards of $20 for a cartridge which prints 60 pages.

So when ever i want to print something my laptop says stuff like the printer cannot communicate with the computer. Try these solution
- Ensure the printer is powered on
- Disconnect and reconnect the printer's power cable
- Disconnect and reconnect the usb or network cable
- Check your firewall settings to ensure printer communications is not blocked
- Restart your computer
And then it says windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup. But apparently my dad can print stuff from his laptop without any troubles and i cant. So what should i do? I have a lexmark 3400, and it sometimes, out of random, while its turned off even, make noise. Like, that sliding clicking noise that printers do. Its not a problem, sometimes amusing, when i have friends over and it randomly starts going off and everyone is like "***. How do i scan on my lexmark 500 series printer? I have been going through the manual but can only find how to fax. This has been already setup and i have used it many times for printing. Lexmark Printer Copy Is Blurry
When using the black ink option, the paper feeds through too fast so copy is all blurry. Using the colored ink it feeds through fine. We've cleaned the cartridges and changed it to normal speed but this doesn't help.

I have called lexmark tech support 5 times and they were unable to fix this problem and im at my wits end wondering what to do. They tell me to uninstall and reinstall the software and driver for the printer and like i said i have called tech support 5 times and every time i call them i keep telling me that i have called b4 and the tech support person has me do the exact same thing every time and it hasn't fixed the problem, its a 3 in 1 printer/scanner and fax machine. It will copy ok but it wont let me scan in documents or photos and it wont print anything. Im getting frustrated and don't know what to do from here since their tech support cant get to the root of the problem. I am running windows xp on that computer.
