Failed To Load Detection Driver - Error

I would load windows vista and get a bsod with the failure registering in an atixxx.dll . I figured it was a driver error so i tried reinstalling my drivers. I did a driver sweep and started up the install.exe. Halfway through, the install would either crash my entire system or i would get a "failed to load detection driver" error. Very frustrating. Last night, i reinstalled vista. Drastic, i know. I installed all of the updates. I then tried to reinstall the ccc package. Same error! I looked online for some fixes. This one:

http://www.Driverheaven.net/driverheaven-tools-discussion/174912-failed-load-detection-driver-installation-error.html

Seemed promising but didn't work for me. I don't know what else to do. Any ideas? I might end up selling my 4870 and buying a nvidia product just to avoid this issue.

Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop Windows Has Failed To Start

I keep trying to turn my laptop on and i get: "windows has failed to start" with the options "windows startup repair" and "start windows normally". Now, neither work. I click on both, it will go to the microsoft loader screen then black. I ran the simple diagnostics test on it and got the error "stop: 0x0000007b (0x80599bb0, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)" i didn't see anything wrong with the motherboard or the hard drive. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Usb Error Ehrecvr.exe - Windows Mce

I'm helping a friend configure his new mce laptop. It came with an external usb tv tuner, and an external usb infrared receiver for the mce remote control. Each time i plug in the usb tv tuner i get this error:

"Media center receiver service has encountered a problem & needs to close. "

It then goes on to mention "ehrecvr.exe" and "cinemasteraudio.dll"

This error re-appears every 5 seconds or so after you close the error! I would have though the receiver service would be relating to the remote control infrared receiver, but this error pops up even when that is not plugged in.

Video Card Beep Error - Windows Fails To Load

Last night my comp was making a loud beeping noise and it turned out to be my video card. So i boot it up, get all the screens and it eventually hits the windows screen with the options of safe mode, last known configuration that worked, and run windows normally. The problem is no matter which one i pick (done them all several times) it always does the same thing. The window logo screen loads where the little blue bar travels across below the logo usually meaning windows is starting up, but everytime it has that screen for about 15 seconds then a quick flash of the blue screen of death and my computer resets and does the whole process again?

Usb 2.0 External Hdd Error Windows Delayed Write Failed

I purchased a western digital 40 gb, 5400rpm usb2. 0 external hdd(2. 5") recently and when i try to copy large cunk of data, windows gives me an error

"Windows-delayed write failed"
Windows was unable to save all the data for the file deviceharddiskvolume6. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file else where. But small chunks of data can be saved. Also when this happens, windows does not recognize the partitions of the usb drive and shows only one letter for the drive without any contents!

My pc's configuration is as follows:

850mhz celeron
256mb sdram
Internal 20gb samsung hdd(54000rpm)
Pci-to-usb - pci card fitted into pci slot(has 4 usb outlets)
Windows 2000 professional with sp4

I have no conflicts whatsoever with the usb drivers. One more thing; i have not faced the above problem when i try to transfer data from another system which is of a higher configuration than what i have mentioned above. This system's configuration is:
Windows 2000 professional service pack 4 (build 2195)
1. 93 gigahertz intel pentium 4
8 kilobyte primary memory cache
256 kilobyte secondary memory cache
512mb ddr-ram

Any fix?

Iexplore.exe Application Error

In this past week whenever i am attempting to close down internet explorer i get that message error which reads:

Instruction at the 0x07c901010 referenced memory the 0x0000001c memory could not be read. I looked on the internet for error messages like this but am not finding exactly what might be wrong. I have heard i might want to run the memtest 86 is that so and what will it tell me? I am not getting any other problem other than it pops up on the screen as i attempt to close the window then it does allow me to close it. Any suggestions out there? Is this related to memory going bad? Video memory? Anything i need to concern myself with?

Svchost.exe - Application Error

I keep getting this pop up that says " svchost.exe - application error : the instruction at "0x001a3b57" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read". Click on ok to terminate the program. I'm know a decent amount about computers but i wouldn't say i'm a wiz. I've been stuck trying to figure out how to get rid of this. Please note i have tried the following:- cleaned out and fixed registry errors with: ccleaner, free window registry repair, and advanced system care. They have all found tons of errors and each has successfully fixed the found errors. Yet i still get this problem. I have also tried the start: "services. Msc" method and it has not fixed it. Also i have avg free to fix any spyware that might be running and have ran malware byte's anti-malware so i do not think this is a malware problem. Is there any solutions that i have not tried? Also not i was getting jit debugging errors for microsoft script editor and i reset the values for that program so i don't know if that caused any errors?

I have already searched this website for the fix to this

Before you ask, i have installed .net 2. 0, 3. 0 and even 2. 0. 50727, i have also downloaded and installed drivers:

Am i missing something? This *** me off because dell didnt send us any instructions or even the box the card was supposed to come with.

Unable To Load Windows, Partial New Install

During bootup, case lights come on, including blue cathodes, fans, etc, i get no beep codes, the screen initially flashes the indentity of the vid card installed, then goes to intell splash page, then to the unable to load windows screen with many options such as boot in normal mode, safe mode, etc.computer specifications:

Mobo - intel 865perl (new)
Cpu - intel p4 2. 4c boxed (new)
Memory- corsair 3200 ddr 1024mb twinx dual channel (new) (1 stick each installed in channel a raid 0, channel b raid 0). Video - gainward geforce fx5600 128mb ddr, ultra 760 tv/dvi. (New). Hard drive - wd 40gb
Power supply - icute 430watt (new). Only things on mobo right now are cpu, mem, video card. Board has current bios (verified on intel site). In bios, verified cpu, memory, etc. I've had problems with "no signal" on other builds, but those were memory problems. The twin corsair sticks are installed properly, 1 in channel a raid0 and the other in channel b raid0. The bios recognizes them (1024mb) as well. Any ideas on why i can't get the os to load?

Laptop Won't Load Windows Xp

Yesterday i dropped my laptop (ah!) On a hardwood floor. I have a toshiba satellite m100/m105. As soon as it dropped the screen went black and basically the power to it went out. This worried me, but then i just pressed the power button on the computer and it restarted and seemed to work fine! Until i restarted my computer again today because the internet was locked up. Anyway, so i restarted and a black screen came up that said windows was unable to load correctly and to run windows as normal, run in safe mode, run how it was run last time it run correctly, etc. And i chose each of these options at least once and each time it brought me back to the same black screen. I'm not sure if it is a software or hardware issue or if it even has anything to do with me dropping my laptop yesterday. Does any one know what i should do? Should i check to see if it's hardware related before i run a system repair? Should i bring it in to a professional and have them look to see if it's a hardware problem or is there a way i could check for "lose connections"?

Computer Is Shutting Off During The Windows Load Screen

So i ended up upgrading to an amd x2 6000 and getting an hd4850 as well. Windows 7 was also installed by a friend on my computer. However, my computer is shutting off during the windows load screen at the same time, like right after the windows colors icon forms together and glows or whatever. I have an antec 650w truepower power supply that is maybe 3 years old at the most. Also, i have been monitoring the watts and they are all stable and all less than . 20 different than the norm or whatever each thing is supposed to be.could the ram i bought be bad and is shutting down the computer? Temperatures are all fine as well. I just find it weird that it turns off during the exact same time but will sometimes randomly let me get to windows if i keep trying. A fast response would be appreciated, especially if it is possibly bad ram since i think the last day to exchange it at frys is today for me.

Error: System Failed Cpu Test - Computer Randomly Shuts Down

Basically, my computer randomly shuts down. Not shuts down through windows, just plain shuts off. Now its been suggested that this is either the power supply or the cpu fan, but i don't know which and really have no idea of that out. I have an antec 350w power supply on an asus p4c800 deluxe and a pentium 4. I am also getting an error message sometimes when i start up (sometimes after the random shutdown, sometimes not) that the "system failed cpu test, " but again i have no idea how to correct this. This isn't as bad because i just try again after that message and the computer boots up fine.

Windows Randomly Lock Up, Act As If Cpu Is Under 100% Load

I'll spare you the details, but my machine has become unstable recently. I was overclocking recently but one of these issues persisted before the oc. Since it's got weird my pc has gone back to stock settings which haven't fixed anything. Windows will randomly lock up, and act as if the cpu is under 100% load. It isn't. The pc will now poweroff after shutdown. The monitor switches off but the power/fan run to the cpu. When trying to image my c: drive to a backup it will always fail. I got a bsod last night trying this. I've ran chkdsk a few times and everytime it has found and "repaired" bad sectors. I booted into ms memory ram checker, no errors, the comp can still play games fine when i first boot up, it's afterwards thing get flaky, my os hard drive is pretty old, which is why i targeted that first. I've seen some abnormal temps coming from there in the past. How do i test psu to elimate that from the equation?

Computer Freezes On Boot - Long Time To Load Windows

I was having issues with a game of mine hard locking my pc. The only way to get out of it was to hold down the power button and force the pc to power down, then boot back up. Trying to trouble shoot the game, this happened several times. Then, it started freezing on the memory test. It's not really freezing, though - if i leave it sit for a very long time ( 5 to ten minutes ), it will eventually boot into windows. Any ideas?

Error: This Device Could Not Start ( Code 10 )

I have 895mb of ram on my system now, but i started with 1gb? Anyways, i kept getting blue screens and they told me to use a new video adapter. I got a new video card and it reccomends 1gb of ram. It has a vga adapter that you have to connect your monitor to for it to work. I went into device manager and it said "this device could not start (code 10). " Then after some lagg, the computer froze. Is this a ram problem? And if it is, can i just buy one stick of 2gb ram instead of adding 1gb to the current 895mb? I have windows vista home basic 32-bit. Int pent 4 proc. 3. 0ghz. I went into system setup when it booted, and changed the primary video card to pci-e, which is what the new video card runs on. The video card is the radeon hd 3650 1gb ddr2. This is like my 3rd topic, i know. Bare with me, i keep running into like 2 different problems every day.

Windows Takes A Really Long Time To Start Up

Windows takes a really long time to start up, and when it does, it doesn't last long before the computer restarts. I went into the bios, and the cpu is running at 38*c, so it shouldn't be that. Also, i have a 500watt psu, so that shouldn't be it either, what's the problem?

Windows Could Not Start - Hardware Configuration Problem

Ok so i have dual boot on my computer with vista and xp and a few days ago when i tried login into xp i would get the error message "windows could not start because of a hardware configuration problem" so the only way that i could solve the problem was to reinstall xp. But now it's almost like it's not there. Like i mean i can now log into xp and everything with no problem, but when i go to 'start' and then click on 'computer', the drive is not there. The only thing that's there is the vista drive and the recovery drive. I mean i'm glad that i can now log into xp and everything is working, but it's really irritating me that the xp drive is not showing up anywhere. Even when i go to 'computer' and right-click and go to 'manage' and then go to 'storage' and 'disk management', the space is there but it's not labeled with the drive letter or anything like that, it just has the size of the drive, and nothing else . And when i right click it and go to 'change drive letter and paths' it doesn't work, it says 'the operation failed to complete because disk management is not up-to-date'. This is really irritating me. Can someone please help me with this?

Windows Wont Start After Ram Sticks Upgrade

Till now i had 2x256 pc3200 ddr kingston. Everything was working fine. I just got 2 more 256mb sticks and once i place them all together windows wont even start. I took them all out and hooked the new sticks in the old ones slots just too check and with 512 the pc works great with no problem at all. Doesn't matter which 2 sticks are in it works with 512, when i hook all 4 together pc crashes. Now i tried switching ram stick locations and stuff and finally got it working, yet now when ever i run a high performance game (far cry doom3 etc) it plays for like 2 min (and so fast) then it just closes the app and goes back to the desktop. The sticks or the mobo?
