Ram - 2x 512mb
Hdd - 1x120gb, 1x80gb
Drives - 1 dvdrw, 1 cdrw
Power supply - 400w max
I tried radeon 9800 with no success and end up doing a rma on it. Does anybody know which card work fine a soyo p4x400 dragon lite with the above specs. Is p4x400 dragon lite compatible with geforce fx 5700?

Geforce Fx 5700 Ultra Monitor Flashing
I just upgraded my video card to the 5700 ultra and am having some problems. I have updated all of my drivers (agp, chipset, vid card, etc. ), But still have this problem. When i get to my desktop, the "my computer" icon is black and the screen will occasionally flash. I have tried different resolutions and refresh rates, but with no success. When i go into madden 2005, the game starts fine, but once i get a game started, some lines start to appear off of the players . It's very weird. All of this is kind of new to me, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Only other things i can think of is that the card may be bad (though it ran previously in another computer or the power supply isn't sufficient (i believe it's 460w).

I'm planning on purchasing a leadtek 7950gt 512mb. I've noticed that the card only has dvi outputs, and my monitor only has analogue inputs. Will they be compatible together, or will i need to buy a special digital-analogue cable or something. I cannot afford to a new tft monitor as of yet, the gfx card is the main priority atm!

Sound Card Issue With Dragon Speech Recognition Software
I just had a friend rebuild my computer (don't ask it is a long story). The problem i have now is that the motherboard is a biostar m7vig 400 with a built in sound chip cm19761a i believe by c-media and before i had a cl sound blaster pci 512, now i can't get my dragon speech recognition software to work right (i use this in my job as a medical transcription). My co-worker suggested i install the cl card in. She says she has 2 sound cards in her computer. My question is can i install my cl card in my computer, what do i have to do in order to make it work. Will it work? I am sorely needing to get dragon back up and running. I know that i probably haven't probably given enough info, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lite On Sosw-852s Firmware Upgrade
I believe my drive needs a firmware update to be able to burn on 16x dvd media. It's a lite-on sosw-852s, but is also know as a relabeled sony drive. Liteon doesn't seem to have any new firmware for this drive on its website? Am i missing something or is there any other way i can use my 16x dvds in this drive?

Can the dvd/cd driver ( lite-on combo sohc 5236v) record dvd+r? I know it can record cd-r and cd-rw. But when i try to record with dvd+r most programs can't detect the media. Like nero, power iso, dvd decrypter, ashampoo. I've tried all of them. And they can detect or find it. So maybe i was wondering if this computer is incompatible with burning dvd+r.

Why wont my dell 2400 work with my lite-on dvd burner? I have a dell 2400 with a factory equipped cd rom burner. I took it out and put in a lite-on dvd rom burner but it acts like nothing is there. Laptop Hd Compatibility
My laptop wont boot up. I'm going to send in for service but they said they proobably will reformat the drive. I'm trying to avoid having to take it to a data recovery specialist because i'm quite broke at the moment. Can i put my laptop hard drive into any laptop, then backup? If not, what spec should i use to know which types of laptops my harddrive will fit on? Is it the form factor size, ultra ata/100 eide spec, or what? Is there a part i can buy that the data recovery guys use to retreive the data from my laptop harddrive? What is this part?

When i ran the 3dbenchmark 2003 program, i get framerates which are below average. I even get choppy framerates when playing nbalive 2004, unreal tournament and farcry. I use screen resolutions of 1024x768 for the games (sometimes had to go down to 800x600) and my desktop resolution is currently at 1600x1200 pixels. Is the slow framerate during games due to the type of ram i have? I even downloaded the latest nvidia drivers. Still, framerate for games which i should be playing at optimum performance remain disappointing to me.

I am am planning to buy a new printer and i would like to have it available on my home network. I found these print servers from lvl1 and sweex on the local market. http://global. Level1.com/products2.php?Id=881

The first one, fus-3100, indicates support for mfp and gdi. What do these mean? Multi function printer (+scanner, fax etc)? What about gdi?
Has anyone used this kind of solution? Are they any good? Easy to use?

Xeon Processors Compatibility
Quick question about the compatibility of xeon processors. I have a dell precision 450 workstation with a sl72f 2. 80ghz, 533mhz fsb. Would i be able to partner it with a xeon sl7pd 2. 80ghz 800mhz fsb processor or a xeon sl6yl 2. 80ghz 400mhz fsb processor?

Wireless 802.11n Compatibility
I'm currently planning on setting up a wireless network in a 2 story brick building. I've had issues with wireless signal strength in the past and i'm thinking of upgrading our wireless router to a 802. 11n for better signal strength and speed. My only concern is will wireless n have backwards compatibility with g, b?

Any suggestions? Or should i be fine?

Emachines Monitor Adapter Compatibility
I just moved to a new apartment and i lost my adapter to my emachines monitor. The price for one of these is going to cost me around $39. 00. The specs are
Input 100-240 vac 1. 5a 50-60hz
Output 12vdc 3. 5a
I have seen some adapters being sold on ebay from hong kong that have the specs
Input 100-240vac 0. 9a 50-60hz
I would like to save $20. 00 but i don't know what the difference in input amperage will do to my computer. The amperage is lower with the hong kong adapter.could someone tell me if this cheaper adapter will work?
