What ink do i need for a lexmark x2250 all in one printer? I have a lexmark all in one printer x2250 series. My dad bought ink cartriges that are 27 color and 17 black. Can i get 26 color and 16 black instead, or does it have to be 27 color and 17 black? I am trying to order ink online from simplyink.com, i searched for the ink for my printer and i didnt find color 27 and black 17 all i found was color 26 and 16 black. What is wrong with my lexmark t620 laser printer? My printer is printing pages with very faded/light ink. I've replaced the toner cartridge, but the problem still persists. How many more pages can i print when my lexmark printer tells me "black ink is low"? If i replace the cartridge now, i might be throwing away 10 dollars worth of ink! Just recently i bought, for the first time, non hp ink from cartridge world for my hp printer. The ink worked for about 2 days, now my printer wont print anymore. It feeds the paper(looks as if it is printing), but when it comes out the paper is clean. I know the ink didn't run out in a 2 days. From looking at previous answers, hp has been reported to say never to use non hp ink for your printer, for it could damage the printer in the long run. Have i somehow damaged my printer, or could i just possibly buy hp ink again, and will be fine?
In your opinion, is this the cartridge or the printer that is causing the problem? I ask because i don't want to waste the money to buy new ink, if my printer is broken.

Can i put hp (or other ink) in my epson printer? So my epson stylus nx110 all-in-one-printer is out of black ink. I've checked 4 different stores around here, and none of them carry epson ink. However, they do all have hp ink, as well as another brand (canon, i think). So my question is, can i put hp ink or canon ink into my printer? Will the cartridge fit? Will the ink be ok? My mom thinks it will be fine, but i'm a little skeptical. Since ink is so expensive, i don't want to buy a cartridge that won't fit, or worse, buy one that does fit but that messes up my printer.
