Dell D610 Is Not Getting Full Screen Resolution

I think i need drivers for the display adapter, and i believe its intel based. I remember before i reinstalled i had some sort of intel utility for it. My native resolution is 1400x1050 but windows only recognizes a few default resolutions like 800x600 and 1280x1024. I want 1400x1050 back! Anyone know what the name if that intel utility is, and where to download it?

Dell Inspiron 910 Mini Screen Resolution Issue
I have dell inspiron 910 mini 9 16gb ssd netbook laptop which has a screen problem. For some reason the laptop thinks it has a higher resolution screen (1200x600) than it actually does have (1024x600) so it only displays this upper part of the display on the screen at any one time, can any one help?

Which drivers do i install for my dell latitude d610? And how? I had to put in a new hard drive because my previous one became extremely fragmented and i could not recover anything. What a pain. Anyways, i am having trouble finding out which drivers i need off the dell support and drivers website and how do i install them because i can't connect to the internet without those same drivers?

5870 Not Going Full Screen
So i';ve finally got my i7 rig together with a gigabyte ex58-ud5 mobo, i7 920 currently @4. 0g (testing in process right now) and an ati (re-flashed to asus) 5870 video card. During one of my video card tests it failed and i think that is when the monitor decided to not go full screen. I have about a 1" blank area the entire way around the display that is not being used sort of like when you are watching a broadcast channel in hd that does go full screen. I've tried adjusting the monitor settings, resetting the monitor settings, and adjusting the screen resolution etc. I also noticed that when the screen goes blank from inactivity that it does not wake back up. Not sure if this is related or not though. Any ideas?
Monitor or video card or a combo of the two?

Getting Full Screen Sharing On Ichat
How do you get full screen screen sharing on ichat? When i try to screen share in ichat from my 15 inch macbook pro to a 17 inch mac book pro, the 17 inch can see my screen, but it's not full screen because the sides of the screen are black. If we try another computer that's a 15 inch, its full screen on the 17 inch and it's high def. When we screen share so i can see the 17 inch display, i get full screen but the picture quality is all fuzzy and pixilated. Any ideas on how to resolve these issues?

Slow Downs In Movies Full Screen On 5850
I got strange problem. When i watching movies on full screen ( like on youtube or intros in games ) i just got terrible system slowdown with black screen blinking. One move of mouse is just 10 seconds. All totally slowdown with black screen blinking.system just is very very slow. One action in windows is just 10 seconds+ like move mouse or other. So i making ctrl ald delete ( 4 minutes waiting ) and restart pc. Then is normal , but if i watch some movie again is the problem. In games is all ok. I can play 10 hours+ and its ok. Only movies is f*** up. Why ? On some site i just read that some people got the same problem like me. But i forget the www link. Is this 5850 problem? Or mainboard? Or something other?

Crash When Watching Full Screen Flash Video
Win 7 64bit, radeon 5850, cat 9. 10. This is happening on hulu.com, where on full screen, the screen goes black after a while, but the audio is still playing. Recovering back to windows is almost impossible as the windows don't draw correctly even after windows automatically drops aero rendering. Even in window mode, flash video playback is a little blocky/fuzzy with some stuttering. Anyone else with similar issues that may be related to the video card?

Display Driver Crashes During Full Screen Web Video
I managed to catch a glimpse of a display driver failure notice, so i can now confirm what exactly the problem is. Basically if i play a web video and make it full screen anywhere other than youtube or gt.com (like ign.com, kotaku, etc) it will play for 30 seconds or so and then crash. The screen will go black, my mouse will become barely responsive and i'll have to hard boot. I'm running windows 7 rc 7100 and this has happened with both 9. 6 and 9. 7 cats. Am i all alone here or does anyone know if there's a fix? I can't seem to find any info on it at all.

Whenever i run any game or a video in full screen or semi full screen, the computer instantly comes up with a screen full of artifacting for about 10 seconds, then restarts the computer. I've run cpu z, gpu z, and realtemp to see if there was some kind of thermal issue but the gpu core never goes above 58 before a crash, cpu sits at 32-38. All the ram has already been swapped out along with the power supply, hard drive and im in a very large and fan friendly case. At one point if i didn't restart the computer it wouldn't give me any trouble, but now it doesn't matter how many parts i re-seat or how many times i reboot, it happens every time without fail. Nothing appears in the windows event logs, and there are no blue/green screens. This has happened in windows vista 32-bit and windows xp pro so the os has nothing to do with it. I don't want to drop 500 bucks on a new vid card if i don't have to and i don't have a spare board or vid card laying around for further testing. Rig: bfg gtx 280, vista 32-bit home prem, 4*1gig dual chan, 650watt psu, intel core 2 duo e8400 3. 0ghz, systemboard: asus p5q series
Not overclocking, all bios/firmware updates installed, drivers have been updated and down-dated to newer/older versions.

My hp pavilion dv6 won't run games in full screen? I have a laptop hp pavilion dv6 windows 7 home premium. Any games i play won't run in full screen such as starcraft, warcraft, counterstrike, and etc. All those games have black bars left out on each side of screen and it's small. I hate it =_=. I've been searching on google how to fix it and some people said you can't play full screen games on windows 7 but i know it's not true because my girlfriend has hp g60-535dx laptop and it's also windows 7. One time she was playing game with me for fun and i was just messing around with her. She got mad and hit the keyboard crazy for 2 seconds until her screen(which was like mine) turned into full screen. From that point on, every games she plays on her laptop runs on full screen. And also when she clicks ctrl+shift+arrow buttons, the desktop changes into portrait, lanscape, upside down, etc. Can you guys help me to get my computer to run games in full screen? The screen is too small t. T i like it on full screen. And no the property setting change on games won't help. I can't even change the compatibility. Windows 7 Screen Resolution
I have recently upgraded from vista to windows 7 and have a question about the new screen resolution. Windows 7's recommended resolution for my monitor is 1600 x 900, but that makes everything too small to read. The one i had with vista was ideal, but isn't an option on 7. When i go down to 1360 x 768, the size is fine, but everything is blurry. I made everything 125% larger, but that makes everything too large. Another issue is the internet. I use chrome for my browser, and i love it. When using it on vista, it was perfect, but now with 7, no matter which resolution i select, everything in chrome is too small. Even when things are 125% or 150% larger, chrome still displays things too small. There are those sidebars along every website, which are extremely annoying, and weren't there before i changed os. I know it's got to be because of the resolution, but none of the resolutions make things big enough and clear at the same time. As a new 7 user, i'm not sure how to fix this correctly. And as a little tiny question, does anyone know how to get rid of those preview windows when you hover over something in the taskbar?

Screen Resolution Went Completely Black
I went to the menu for display, then settings, then moved the screen resolution slider from the minimum to the maximum. Unfortunantly the screen then went completely black and a little message popped up saying that it was out of limits. I have tried plugging another screen in and the same message came up. I also tried putting my lcd tv on it but it just keeps saying not supported. The computer was handed down from my mum so i don't have any of the manuals or anything. Help me! How do i reset it so that i can use it again. There is nothing on the computer that i don't mind losing, if there was a way of resetting it to factory setting that would be fine, i just don't know what to do.

Ever since i re-loaded windows 98se after my hard drive issue, i can only use 2 colors or 16 colors, as well as only operate in 640x480. I have always been able to use a better resolution and high color. I didn't switch monitors, so i know it's not that. Right now, i have no other options to use, and my screen supports 800x600 (i believe that's the exact resolution). I can't even use some of the programs i need without having the correct color setting. What should i do?

The max resolution of my acer 22' is 1680 x 1050, but instead it only lets me choose from: 1440x900 to 1600x1200. Does this mean the panel can actually run at 1600x1200 (which it seems to be doing), or i should try to figure out why its not running at its native max res. Its running on a 8800gt

I have the hd8450 card and xp sp3. I want to connect my computer to my tv (by cloning the desktop). So i configured using the ccc program i got with my card and i can see my desktop on my tv. My monitor is working on 1680x1050 but when i clone i get a much lesser resolution on the tv, everything is much bigger ( i think i get 800x600 on my tv). I tried to play a little with the adjustment but with no luck do you know how to solve it?

I am setting up a new machine for some1. The video card is a quadro 370 w/ 256 mb of ram. It default at 1024x768
When i move it to any higher resolution, it doesn't show the entire vertical screen, rather, i have to scroll the mouse and the entire screen moves with it. So as i scroll down, i can see the start bar. Has any1 seen anything like this? And how do you fix this?

Dell Ultrasharp Monitor Resolution
I just installed the dell 2005fpw ultra sharp lcd monitor with a dimension e510. In the setup instructions, dell really emphasizes the need to set the display resolution to 1680 x 1050 for optimal performance - so i did. When watching streaming video or dvd movies at that resolution, the sharpness & clarity of the images is outstanding - very desirable, like hdtv. However, when set this way, the displayed images for all of the other typical applications (like email, web browsing, word processor, etc. ) Is unacceptable for my aged vision & preferences. In particular, the fonts become so tiny that they're difficult to read without some magnification. Up until now, i have always used 800 x 600 resolution which provides decent sized fonts for easy reading. My question: is it possible to set the computer/monitor so the best of both worlds can be had? In other words, i would like the font size to be like the 800 x 600 pixel setting for every day applications. However, when viewing video or dvd movies the resolution would be like the 1680 x 1050. I tried various font sizes & some of the advanced property settings in the desktop menu, but have not found any combination that works. When the fonts used by windows are enlarged, they remain tiny in my (mozilla firefox) web browser & (thunderbird) email. I would really appreciate some direction here. Although i've been using & tinkering with computers for more than 10 years, this is my first experience with display resolution.

I just installed the dell 2005fpw ultra sharp lcd monitor with a dimension e510. In the setup instructions, dell really emphasizes the need to set the display resolution to 1680 x 1050 for optimal performance - so i did. When watching streaming video or dvd movies at that resolution, the sharpness & clarity of the images is outstanding - very desirable, like hdtv. However, when set this way, the displayed images for all of the other typical applications (like email, web browsing, word processor, etc. ) Is unacceptable for my aged vision & preferences. In particular, the fonts become so tiny that they're difficult to read without some magnification. Dell In1910n Monitor Resolution
How to update a monitor resolution on a dell in1910n 18. 5' flat panel monitor? I am currently using a dell in191n 18. 5' flat panel monitor. The current resolution is 1024x768. It is suppose to have a resolution of 1366x768. And other features:
1000:1 contrast ratio
250 nits brightness
Vga input
I am trying to figure out how to change the resolution to its normal 1366x768 resolution but i can't. It is wide and makes everything look wide and flat. Especially my pictures. What do i need to do?

Dell E193fpc Monitor Resolution Problem
My dell monitor e193fpc cannot show at proper resolution. I got a replacement (used) dell computer and had to temporarily use a very old, large monitor that could only show resolution of 640x480 at 16 bit color quality. Now that i have my 19" flatscreen, it is showing at the same size and resolution. I cannot find a driver that my computer recognizes from the dell website. Does anyone know what i may be doing wrong?

Why when i turn my dell computer on there is nothing on the screen? When i turn on my computer everything i normal except my screen. It is just black. There's no windows is starting up or something the screen is just black. The other lights such as that one light you see when your computer is charging are all working the screen is just black. Dell Monitor Screen Goes Blank
I have a dell 19" monitor. Model #1907fpc. The monitor turns on for a second and i can see my desktop but then the screen goes blank. Anybody out there that can give me some advice on how to troubleshoot this issue? I want to keep this monitor as it has multiple usb ports on it. Also does anyone know how to open the monitor so i can take a look inside to see if anything came unplugged?
