Beeps 3 High 2 Low

With help from a colleague, display card certified. But after inserting another displaying card, same beeps. What else can goes wrong? Monitor is ok. Pc bought in 2000. P3. Problem surface not long after upgrading from win98 to winxp and replacement of cdrw and new tablet. Problem remain the same even if i switch to another hard disk to start up.

Mouse Speed Goes Too High Or Too Low On Computer Restart
What is going on when you shut down your computer and it just hangs at the windows is shutting down screen? I'm running win98 and thats what it does. Also, this is more of an annoyance, but everytime i start or restart my computer, my mouse speed is set one notch too high, or one notch too low. That is so annoying, anyone know whats going on?

Keep Screen Brightness High Or Low When Using Computer In Dark
Is it better to keep the screen brightness high or low when using your computer in the dark? I think it's better to have it at the max setting but my friend thinks it's better to have it on the lowest setting. Can anybody clarify?

Low Cost / Low Power Consumption Server For File Serving 15-20 Drives
Like the title states;
Originally, i had a specific set of components lined up for my whs file server but have decided to start over with input from everyone here. Before i go any further, here are the main functions the box will be serving;
3-5 workstations (htpc, wdtv, etc), streaming mainly hd content over a gigabit network and file backup of photos and family videos. Not so distant future, ftp server for remote access to data (2-10 clients max - rarely simultaneous connection). My main priorities, in order of importance;
Low power
Low cost (not too important if cost vs. Performance sacrifice is an issue)
This server will be on 24/7 so low power is extremely important. No raid requirements necessary, jbod done via whs. I've already acquired a norco 4220 w/ fan's modded for less noise, a rosewill rbr1000-m 1000w psu, and a dell sas6/ir.initially, i will start with 5-10 - 1. 5 to 2tb drives, but i would like to purchase all hardware no (while i have money). So my question to all is this; given my server demands (hardly any), what components would you go with - a list of specific components with models numbers would help. If you wouldn't use the sas6 i currently have, what would you used (saslp ?)

Trying to add a second harddrive, which is wd 120gb. But when i plug it in (in same place where my other 80gb hd works) the hard drive beeps, (2 beeps) and then repeats. Depending on jumper settings somtimes it will continue to load, (with beeps) havnt let it go to far, bcoz i figure beeps are tellin me somthing is wrong, and somtimes shuts down after 15 or so seconds. What shall i do? On primary socket i have os hd, and cd-rom, on secondary ide i did have 80gb, set to master i believe, which worked fine. My goal would be to have all 3 working, as i need to copy data from one to other, however i would settle for just having new 120gb working and 80gb not there install.

High Speed Device Is Attached To Non High Speed Usb Adapter
I have a usb port that i use for reading my digital camera xd card. It was working ok. Then, i installed a cable modem with a usb connection (to a different usb port). Now, whenever i plug in the xd card reader, i get a popup screen message that says something like "your high-speed device is attached to a non-high speed usb adapter". I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the usb driver, but with no results.

Low Voltage Cause Pc Freeze
My pc started freezing. It's brand new, about 6 months old, 400 watt power supply, asus motherboard, amd athlon xp 2400+ cpu, ati all-in-wonder 8500 dv gfx card, and here's the problem. Using the asus probe which can measure voltage, it says that my 12v is below the threshold and is going down to about low as 10v. In addition my pc freezes. I run a dual boot and this only happens in server 2003, but not xp professional. I tried doing a complete reinstall of 2003 today and it still does it. What can i do?

Low Wow Framerates
I just recently upgraded my processor and gpu and seems world of warcraft chugs along when it should wizz. I'm noticing severe drops in performance in some areas, and sub 30 fps in raids. Is anyone else having similar problems? I know wow doesn't "support" win7 or fully utilize the 4890 but it seems i should be getting >60fps gameplay or maybe i'm just wishful thinking. I have all in-game settings set to high along with the in-game 8x multi-sampling rate (which doesn't change my fps lowering it). I lowered shadows bar and seems i got about 10-15 fps but still getting low in just regular instances. I would oc the cpu but it seems i have an earlier version of the p5w and cannot change the vcore lower than 1. 4 (when i do set it at 1. 4, temps skyrocket). Running 38c idle and about 50-51c load. Specs below:

Going from no computer to a computer raised my electric bill from $18/month to $40/month. Granted, some of that is due to me being in my apartment more often, and i don't play with no lights on either. But anyways, i'm trying to save money and have been afraid to leave my computer on for long periods of time while large files download. Going into sleep mode of course stops the downloads. Low Volume When Hooked To Two Computers
I have a pc and a brand new mac mini (oct 2009 model). The speakers i am using are logitech z-2300 2. 1. My setup is as follows:
I have 3. 5mm male-to-male cables going from both the pc soundcard and the mac mini audio-out to a y cable with two 3. 5mm female ends and one 3. 5mm male end. The 3. 5mm male end goes to a 3. 5mm female/female connector. The other end of this connector has the 3. 5mm male jack from my speakers hooked to it. With this setup and my old mac mini it allowed me to have audio from both my pc and mac go to one set of 2. 1 speaker system. I could play audio from both sources and the volume was normal. It worked great. However, with this new mac whenever the 3. 5mm jack is hooked into the mac, the audio coming from my pc is extremely low volume. As soon as i unplug the 3. 5mm cable from the mac, the audio coming from my pc returns to a normal volume level. I have no idea why this changed when the only different element in the setup was the new mac mini. How should i go about solving this problem? Should i be using a different setup? Is there a way to boost the volume? I'm pretty clueless about audio, so any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Asus En7600gs Low Fps
I recently got a new comp and was very excited so i loaded up some 3d games to test out and benchmark. Well i loaded up doom3, quake3 and cricket 07 and oddly enough it could only hit 60fps on all the games no matter how high or low i set the detail. The average fps for all the games i tested was 59-60. So i was wondering if this was a glitch or do i have a driver problem?

160gb w. D. Sata hdd

Virtual Memory Minimum Too Low
I initially had 256mb of ram (2. 5yrs old), added 512mb 1. 5yrs ago and added 1gb 2 months ago. Before adding the 1gb, i had some issues related to the memory and it because of the 256mb module having dust and required cleaning up etc. Off recently, i've been getting blue-screen crashes with irql_not_less_or_equal error msg - ths happens like once in 3-5 days. Sometimes applications like ff and .net related crashes - but safely - no windows-blue-screen. I've never seen my memory cross 700mb in my task manager. Now, i get this virtual memory minimum too low warning in my icon tray. I opened task-manager and it shows 919m / 2023m. What the heck, i upgrade ram, pc still has another half of it still free, yet i get low virtual-memory warning. Is there something i got to change to use as much of physical memory?
I heard that it helps if memory modules are installed prior to os installation. Is this true?

Recommend Me Parts For A Low Power Server
I'm looking to build myself a computer thats on 24/7 and will do my file serving, streaming, and tv recording. Right now i use my desktop to record tv and store my files on a single 500 gig drive. I'm coming real close to outgrowing this and would like to move those tasks to a separate computer. Also, the current desktop throws off too much heat so a low power rig would let me throw the desktop into hibernation or whatever. I'm also going to do all of this in linux.

Low Black Ink Level Warning
I bought an ink refill kit for my x7170 in my office. I've refilled the black ink cartridge but it still gives me the low black ink level warning? When i hold up the black ink cartridge, i know it's refilled because it's alot heavier than when it wasn't refilled. I followed the instruciton that came with the kit. Can someone please tell me what is going on?

Computer Generating Low Pitch Sound
It's been almost two months that my computer generates low pitch sounds. This problem is resolved most of the time when i turn off and on the computer. For example when i play dvd movies on my computer the voices of actors are very thick and women sound like men! I doubt if it's a cd driver problem since there is nothing wrong with the image and also same problem exists with the sound files from internet.could this be also a spyware or something?

Low Power External Drive For The Car
I'm about to start putting in a new car a/v system and the guys at the install shop have warned me that the usb interface on the head units generally don't have a lot of power and tend to have problems with larger drives. They don't know enough to tell me how much is "not enough power for larger drives" so i don't know the answer to that and so far kenwood and pioneer haven't answered me on emails and a voice mail. Do any of you know of a lower power consumption external that is maybe made for laptop use or something along those lines? As i look through various models of externals, there's no mention of power consumption etc other than whether or not the drive is designed to run off usb or if there's an ac adapter. Would an ssd be a good choice other than the expense? I'd prefer not to use the 12v supply in the vehicle nor run a new one just based on location. The idea is that the drive will plug in inside my console and be taken out once in a while when i have ripped a lot of new music or want to load a few movies for my nephews or something.

Intel Dg41rq Audio Quality Is Low
Realtek high definition audio which is a default sound device which comes with dg41rq. Its working but the output quality is very low, the sound quality of the computer get vey lower day by day, i also reinstalled the driver. "I really need to know its hardware problem or software problem".

Wireless Routers Connection Range Is Low
My wireless routers connection range is very low. How do i fix this? I have a very old router it's a buffalo whr- g54s router and it just does the weirdest thing. When i place my laptop right next to the computer it's signal strength ranges from fair and good, never very good. The router is situated in my game room so anywhere in my game room my laptop's connection is fairly good. But when i move out of my game room into any other part in the house it loses connection completely. I've tried everything, i've reset the router's settings, i cleared away things that could be blocking it's connection for example television sets and home phones (cell phones as well). I'm in desperate need for help for i do not want to stay in the game room for the rest of my life. Does anyone know the answer to this issue?

Sony Vegas System Is Low On Memory
I have been repeatedly trying to render a video using sony vegas, but every time it comes up with "error 0x70060020" and refuses to render it. Or, it will tell me the system is low on memory, when i know it isn't, i've taken extreme measures to reduce memory usage. I have 3 gb of memory, i should be able to simply render a video on vegas. What is this error, and how can i fix it?

Lexmark Printer Black Ink Is Low
How many more pages can i print when my lexmark printer tells me "black ink is low"? If i replace the cartridge now, i might be throwing away 10 dollars worth of ink! If i keep going and going, the ink might run out and half of my pages will be ruined and i'll waste a lot of paper and ink! I need to print off like 200 pages, that's why i'm asking. And i don't have time to watch .

Low Profile / Slimmer Usb Mouse For Tablet Pc
The medical practice i work for has just recently switched to digital record keeping, and our lenovo tablets have just arrived. If you could suggest a low profile usb mouse with a nano receiver that could easily fit in the pocket of our lab coats, i would appreciate it. The slimmer the better.

Low Cost Video Card To Run 3 Displays
I recently purchased a gateway dx4831-01e (6gb memory, intel i3-530 processor, 1tb hd, 300 watt power supply, pci express slot) for $550. I don't know anything about video cards but heard that some cards have ati eyefinity technology that allows 3 displays to be used with the one video card. I only want the 3 displays for internet surfing and do not need a high end video card since i do not do any gaming. If anyone can find a video card that can run 3 displays and only requires a 300 watt power supply computer that would be great, but i am guessing that i will need to change out my power supply to a higher wattage rated power supply. Please provide a recommendation for a low cost video card and a low cost power supply that will meet my needs and include a link to a website where i can purchase it. I am also not sure if i will need one of the displays to have a display port output or if i can use my display with a hdmi output and get a connector that converts a display port output on the video card to an hdmi output.
